GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS for Semangat Life Mission

Hello dear reader! We have tried to describe the content of the already boring general terms and conditions in understandable language as much as possible. If you have any questions, please send an email to welcome@semangatlifemission.com for more information.

By ‘you’, we mean you, if you are a (future) Client of the Spiritualtherapy sessions or trajectory, or participate as a (future) Participant or Organization in Workshops, Training or Courses, or as an organization or company purchasing Services. In addition, we also mean you as a (future) Contractor who will carry out assignments for Semangat Life Mission.

‘We, us, our’ refers to Semangat Life Mission (SLM), company under Chamber of Commerce number 74738933, established in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

SLM uses the following definitions in the General Terms and Conditions (in alphabetical order):

  1. Activities: all services that are performed for or on behalf of SLM by the Contractor, including Spiritual Therapy, workshops, training, courses and administrative tasks related .
  2. Agreement: any agreement regarding the provision of services between SLM and the Client or Participant, in the form of an appointment for a session or treatment, or the registration for a Workshop, Course or Training. Agreements between SLM and the Contractor can also be concluded.
  3. Assignment: the agreement whereby the Contractor performs certain Services on behalf of SLM.
  4. Client: any person who follows a Spiritual Therapy session, treatment or trajectory at SLM.
  5. Consultation: a session or consultation, i.e. a one-on-one meeting of 60, 75 or 90 minutes in which you and the Spiritual Therapist work together on a main problem. The Spiritual Therapist applies specific techniques to guide the Client in obtaining an answer to the Main Question. This can also include an (aura or energy) reading.
  6. Contractor: the person who performs Activities on behalf of SLM.
  7. Course: a group of participants meet during a longer period of time in which knowledge is transferred, (new) theory is discussed, in-depth knowledge is given and/or exercises are practiced by and with a skilled trainer. At the end of the Course, the participant will have knowledge of the theory and new skills.
  8. Employee: a person employed by or associated with SLM;
  9. Guided Meditation: a meditation guided by a skilled trainer in which the Client(s) and/or Participant(s) are brought into a meditative state with the possible goals of relaxation, letting go, processing and learning.
  10. Healing: harmonisation of the energy system of a natural person. Every natural person has their own individual aura (= energy field) and chakras (= energy centers). Healing can be performed in a one-on-one session or from a distance, and is only done with the consent of the Client.
  11. Individual session: individual sessions in which the Client receives personal treatments Spiritual Therapy and attention from the Spiritual Therapist.
  12. Individual program or trajectory: series of individual sessions Spiritual therapy as a treatment during 3 or 6 months. This could include guided meditations for personal use, healings and readings.
  13. Live: an event where an Online Service is offered live, in real time, for you to participate interactively or watch via your computer.
  14. Main Question: life theme that the Client is currently dealing with and has been converted into a question for a treatment or session. A treatment is guided by the main Main Question, while in each individual session a new sub-question is dealt with relevant to that moment and with regard to the main request.
  15. Mutual Agreement: agreement between Spiritual Therapist and Client about the Spiritual Therapy treatment.
  16. Online Course: a course that can be taken online in one’s own time and space. There is no start or end date.
  17. Online Services: all products that can be followed or done online, live or in your own time and space, such as Online courses, Webinars, Online reading and/or healing, Online (live) Guided Meditations.
  18. Organization: any organization or company that hires SLM to provide a Workshop, Training or Course.
  19. Participant: any person who follows a Workshop, Training or Course at SLM.
  20. Reading (aura or energy): one-on-one session in which the Spiritual Therapist reads and translates the Client’s energy to provide insights into the current state of the Client’s energy field (=aura).
  21. Service: service offered by SLM in the form of Spiritual Therapy (Session or Treatment), Workshops, Training and Courses.
  22. Session: consultation, i.e. a one-on-one meeting of 60, 75 or 90 minutes in which Client works together with Spiritual Therapist to gain insights about the Main Question. The Spiritual Therapist applies specific techniques to guide the Client in obtaining an answer to the Main Question. This may include an (aura or energy) reading.
  23. Spiritual Therapist: a person who carries out Spiritual Therapeutic practices. This may include different techniques also carried out in hypnotherapy for connecting to the subconsciousness, for example focusing, Voice Dialogue, NLP, healing. For the meaning of Spiritual Therapy, see next point.
  24. Spiritual Therapy: holistic and energetic form of psychotherapy with a focus on the well-being and on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health of the Client. During a session, the Client is led into a meditative state using Spiritual Therapy techniques, to answer Main Question of the Client. Spiritual Therapeutic techniques include all kinds of techniques through which the Client can make a connection with his inner world.
  25. Semangat Life Mission (SLM) : company for Spiritual Therapy, Nutrition & Healing for the Life Mission, registered under Chamber of Commerce number 74738933 as a sole proprietorship, including employees and executors of Assignments on behalf of SLM. SLM is located at Poggenbeekstraat 14-2, 1073JG Amsterdam. Founder is Nesya Rusiyadi, MSc, Spiritual Therapist, meditation coach, psychologist and nutritionist.
  26. Trainer: skilled and knowledgeable expert who can teach his or her theoretical or practical knowledge to a Participant.
  27. Training: meeting of a group of participants for one day or for several days in which knowledge is transferred, theory is discussed and exercises practiced in an intense and interactive way by and with a skilled trainer. At the end of the Training, the Participant has gained in-depth knowledge and has been able to put this knowledge into practice and practice.
  28. Treatment: series of sessions or consultations in which it has been agreed that Spiritual Therapist and Client will Activities on a theme or main problem following Spiritual Therapy. A Main Question is formed at the beginning of the Treatment. User: you, who uses our website and/or Services
  29. User: you, who uses the website and/or Services of SLM.
  30. Webinar: online presentation, training, workshop or course.
  31. Workshop: meeting of a group of participants during one or several days in which knowledge is transferred in an interactive, practical and creative way or knowledge is shared about a certain subject by a skilled trainer. At the end of the Workshop, the Participant will have the knowledge to put into practice the topic learned and associated skills.
  1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all current and future Services, Assignments, legal relationships and agreements of SLM. In these cases, SLM commits itself to Clients, Participants and Organizations to provide Services or Activities. SLM may also bind itself with Contractors or Employees who carry out Assignments or Activities for or on behalf of SLM.
  2. SLM reserves the right to make changes or additions to the General Terms and Conditions or to deviate from them.
  3. If the General Terms and Conditions are deviated from or supplemented, there will be an amended written agreement between us and the person concerned.
  4. General terms and conditions proposed by the Client, Participant or Contractor are not accepted by SLM.
  1. Each person who registers for the Services of SLM must provide personal information, such as name, address, place of residence, email address and telephone number. These are necessary for the purposes of contacting, sending the invoice and performing the services. Report changes to one of the data mentioned as soon as possible by sending an email to welcome@semangatlifemission.com.
  2. We will handle the contact and billing information you have provided with care and will only use it for the performance of its services. We will in no way provide this information to others (third parties) without your permission, unless SLM is obliged to do so by law and/or SLM has received your written permission to do so. We have an agreement of confidentiality with our accountant for handling your contact information. 
  3. All information, written and oral, between you and SLM, will be treated confidentially. The Spiritual Therapist, Trainers and Employees are obliged to treat all information that you entrust to them confidentially. In addition, a Trainer has a duty to keep all information provided by Participants within the walls of the classroom.
  4. An exception is in the case that the Spiritual Therapist suspects that the Client is harming himself. In this case, SLM will contact the relevant GP or police.
  1. Introductory calls for advice on the current offer are free of charge. You are under no obligation  to buy anything after that conversation.
  2. When entering into individual sessions or Spiritual Therapy trajectory, a Mutual Agreement is made.
  3. After purchasing a Service from SLM, there is an unwritten agreement of mutual respect, understanding and trust in each other.
  1. In the event of illness or on the basis of circumstances beyond our control, we may postpone the Service until the SLM Employee is able to perform the agreed Service again.
  2. In the event of illness on your part, both you and SLM have the right to terminate the agreement in full, in part and immediately in writing, without being entitled to compensation.
  3. We have the right to change a planned Service or appointment with regard to location, date and/or time. We will agree this with you at least 48 hours before the agreed time and location.
  1. If cancellations are not reported to us in time , we can still charge the total costs to the User or Contractor that arise as a result. In general, cancellation for a Service applies at least 24 hours in advance. See Sections 8, 9, and 10 for details per Service.
  1. The prices that apply are the rates stated on the website or for the relevant product at the time there is an agreement or contact between you and SLM, i.e. the applicable rates. Prices can change at any time without SLM having to notify you explicitly. The permanent prices are mentioned on the website. Temporary discounts may be offered during Services, mail contact or webinars that are not necessarily mentioned on the website.
  2. In exchange for the agreed Services, i.e. a Treatment, Session, Healing, Workshop, Training or Course or one of the Online Services, you pay SLM the applicable rate as stated on the website, or with a discount if it is offered.
  3. You pay for the time, effort and skills that our Employees spend on you for Services performed and not for the result. The result depends on your own efforts, intentions and motivation. SLM is only a channel that guides you in this. 
  4. If there is a permanent price change after you have concluded an agreement with SLM, SLM will inform you in time. The rate that applies to you is the one at the time of our agreement.
  5. SLM sends the invoices digitally (by email).
  6. Companies and Organizations receive an invoice and payment link for payment. When paying on an invoice basis, we expect you to transfer the invoice amount owed yourself and to take responsibility for the correct payment or transfer of the relevant payments.
  7. You can object to the invoiced amounts in writing within 14 days after the invoice date if you encountered any errors.
  8. SLM owes sales tax of 21% (BTW/VAT) for all Services provided. This will be stated on the invoice and will also be calculated in the invoice amount. The stated price for private individuals therefore includes VAT. SLM may charge an administration fee and/or cancellation fee if applicable. For companies and organizations the VAT is stated separately on the invoice.
  9. We understand your personal situation and are open to agreements about paying in installments or in other ways than online. In return, you are expected to keep to the agreements made and to have the motivation to fully utilize the Service. However, we have the right to reject any proposals for alternative payment agreements. Please contact us for this.
  10. There is no health insurance for our Services; SLM does not have the necessary papers for reimbursement from the health insurance company, which means that services offered by SLM cannot be reimbursed as medical expenses. We have chosen to do this in order to have the freedom as an organization and company to set up the content in a way that we believe will get the best out of ourselves and you.
  11. Services, whether coming  or that have already been provided, are not refundable. Upon cancellation by us, a new date and/or location will be offered for the Session or Service instead. See below what happens when you cancel.
  1. An appointment for an Individual session or Reading/Healing is made orally, by telephone, via message (SMS or Whatsapp), in writing via email or via the website and confirmed by us.
  2. An agreement between you and SLM is concluded for the time agreed in the (treatment) agreement for a single Individual session or an Individual trajectory .
  3. If you are unable to make it to an appointment, you must inform SLM of this no later than 24 hours before the start of the appointment, so that SLM will not charge any costs for the appointment. This can be done by telephone (possibly via voicemail), via email or message (text or Whatsapp).
  4. If you do not cancel the appointment on time, you will still receive an invoice for the Individual Session that you must pay, if it has not yet been paid.
  5. If you have already paid in advance for a Session and have adhered to the cancellation up to 24 hours at the latest, we can move the appointment to a better suiting time. If you do not want this, we will refund any amount paid.
  6. After an Individual Session Spiritual therapy, Reading or Healing you can use your card to pay. Alternatively, a payment link is sent to your phone to be paid immediately.
  7. When an appointment for an Individual session has been booked via the website, the session has already been prepaid, otherwise the appointment will not be booked.
  8. If you would like one, we will send you an official invoice by email.
  9. With Individual packages, dates are set at the start of the treatment for all appointments during the treatment. Deviation from this will take place in consensus, at the latest one week in advance.
  10. Termination of a Mutual Agreement by you is made in writing by email with a notice period of two weeks before the start for an individual session or Individual program. 
  11. In the event of cancellation after the start of and during an Individual program of 3 or 6 months, you owe the amount for the entire period. SLM expects you to pay the remaining amount after cancellation, if this has not yet been paid. The reason is that a plan has been made and an intention has been set for the treatment and that the entire treatment/package/trajectory is one product that has already been purchased.
  12. After an appointment, no refund is possible. We are not responsible for the result (see Article 12). If you are dissatisfied with the service, the Spiritual Therapist/Trainer himself or with issues other than the result, we ask that you please raise this with us. We are open to improvement and both Spiritual Therapist/Trainer can certainly learn something from this. If you still want to file a complaint, see Article 13. 
  1. By registering, an agreement is concluded between you and SLM for participating in a Workshop, Training or Course.
  2. SLM will send you a payment link prior to the Workshop, Training or Course before the Workshop or you will pay for this via the SLM webshop or other platform that is used at that time (e.g. Eventbrite or Convertkit).
  3. After registration, you are only officially registered and assured of participation the moment the amount for this service is on the account of SLM.
  4. SLM reserves the right to cancel a Workshop, Training or Course on the basis of circumstances beyond our control. In this case, no refund is possible. Where possible, a new date will be set for the relevant Service.
  5. If you are unable to attend a Workshop, Training or Course and/or want to cancel your participation, you must inform us of this at least 24 hours before the start of the Workshop, Training or Course. This can be done by telephone (possibly via voicemail), via email or message (text or Whatsapp ).
  6. Cancellation of participation in the Workshops, Training and Courses can only be done in writing. This can be done by email to.
  7. In case of cancellation by email up to 24 hours of the Workshop, Training or Course, full or partial refund is possible. Service costs or cancellation costs may be deducted from this.
  8. If you cancel your participation 24 hours or less before the start of the (first day of the) Workshop, Training or Course, you still have to pay the full amount including any service and cancellation costs for the Service in which you would participate. The reason for this is that time and space has already been reserved for you and it is too short a day to give it to someone else . You can also participate in the next edition, if it is on the program.
  9. In the event of cancellation of 1-day Workshops, it is possible to make up at a different time or to choose another workshop in the same price range. If necessary, an additional payment must be made up to the amount of the newly selected workshop.
  1. By registering, an agreement is entered into between you and SLM to participate in an Online Service, i.e. Workshops, Training, Courses, Guided Meditations and Webinars that take place online.
  2. The rules in Article 8 apply to Online Individual Sessions, Online Individual Tracks and Online Readings.
  3. SLM sends you a payment link prior to the Online Service or you pay for this via the SLM webshop or other platform that is used at that time (e.g. Eventbrite or Convertkit).
  4. After registration you are officially registered for an Online Service and assured of participation when the amount for this service is present on our account.
  5. We reserve the right to cancel an Online Service on the basis of incapacity or circumstances beyond our control. In this case, no refund is possible. Where possible, a new date will be set for the relevant Service.
  6. If you are unable to attend an Online Service that is offered Live and you wish to cancel your participation, you must notify us by email at least 24 hours before the start of the Online Service.
  7. Cancellation of participation in the Online Services can only be done in writing. This can be done welcome@semangatlifemission.com.
  8. If an Online Service or the Online Service that is offered Live is cancelled by email within 24 hours, full or partial refund is possible. Service costs or cancellation costs may be deducted from this.
  9. If you cancel your participation 24 hours or less before the start of the (first day of the) Online Service that is offered Live, no refund is possible. The reason for this is that time and space has already been reserved for you and it is too short a day to give it to someone else. You can also participate in the next edition, if the particular Service is on a future program.
  10. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to participate in the Online Service, the Online Service already paid for will not be refunded. You may give your spot to someone else who is interested.
  11. In the event of cancellation of a one-off Online Service, it is possible to make up for it at a different time or to choose another workshop in the same price range. If necessary, an additional payment must be made up to the amount of the newly selected workshop.
  12. Online Services that you can do on your own time, such as an Online Meditation Course or Guided Meditation, are non-refundable after purchase. You can do this at a different time.
  1. The Contractor will perform the Assignment for SLM to the best of their ability and with respect of SLM’s working methods and applicable laws and regulations.
  2. The Contractor determines the manner in which the Assignment is performed within the limits of Article 4 paragraph 1 of these General Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Contractor guarantees the correctness, completeness and reliability of the documents provided by him/her, which, in the opinion of SLM, are necessary to carry out the desired Assignment.
  4. The Contractor is not entitled to have Activities performed by a third party to be designated by the Contractor.
  5. Termination of an Assignment agreement by the Contractor takes place in writing with a notice period of one month.
  6. Articles 7:400 et seq. of the Dutch Civil Code apply.
  1. For Treatments (i.e. Individual sessions and trajectories, in which Spiritual Therapy is central), the Spiritual Therapist has a commitment to make an effort, which means that (s)he will use all her skills, qualities, experiences and professionalism to help you according to her own knowledge, intuition and ability in answering your personal Main Question.
  2. However, the Spiritual Therapist has no obligation to and is not aimed at achieving a particular result. The result depends on your commitment and openness. You as a Client are responsible for the elaboration, influence and consequences of the therapy or other Services.
  3. The Spiritual Therapist and SLM are also not responsible for (medical) complications and consequential damage during or after a treatment. During the sessions you will be informed that there may be a possibility that the therapy may initially lead to symptoms experienced as uncomfortable, before you will feel better or feel the way you want. This is part of the healing process.
  4. We are also not responsible for damage that arises because you do or do not follow our advice. We provide suggestions and advice, and it’s up to you to decide if they’re applicable to you. We trust that you yourself have the vision and responsibility to make this decision.
  5. We may use electronic means of communication for the performance of its Services. SLM is not liable to you for damage that may arise as a result of the use of electronic means of communication, including (but not limited to) damage as a result of non-delivery or delay in the delivery of electronic communication; interception or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties or by software/equipment used to transmit, receive or process electronic communications; transmission of viruses and the non-functioning or malfunctioning of the telecommunications network or other means required for electronic communication, with the exception that the damage is the result of intent or gross negligence.
  6. We trust that anyone who enters into an Agreement with us will make every effort to trust us in the services offered and will not think of causing any harm to us.
  7. SLM is insured with BAT professional insurer for professional and business liability and with professional organisation CAT.
  8. In a treatment Spiritual therapy, SLM does not intend to deny or change a diagnosis by a regular doctor. However, SLM will assist you in the healing process where necessary and to the best of its ability and possibly cooperate with your regular (general) doctor, if you wish.
  1. Dutch law applies to our services.
  2. We have the intention to guide and teach everyone who wants to in their life path in love and passion. In addition, it is our intention to provide knowledge and practical tools using the Services offered. Every Spiritual Therapist and Trainer is aware of their own growth processes and self-development, so that the Services offered qualitatively represent the highest level of being human.
  3. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the Services, communication or anything else that has to do with your contact or Agreement with SLM, we invite you to express this dissatisfaction as soon as possible after becoming aware of this in an open and honest conversation with the relevant Employee of SLM. We hope to learn from any mistakes, to correct them and to improve the quality of care, and of course, to remove your dissatisfaction with our services if possible.
  4. If we still cannot resolve the matter, even after engaging a third party, an independent complaints officer can be appointed to resolve the dispute via the GAT Disputes Committee (Klachtencommissie), where SLM is Wkkgz-registered. You can submit your complaint yourself via https://www.gatgeschillen.nl/ik-heb-een-klacht-wat-nu/ . The complaint fee is for your own account. The GAT Disputes Committee makes an appropriate and binding decision.

All content of the website (https://www.semangatlifemission.com), including but not limited to text, images, videos , audio (mp3), photos and documents, are the property of SLM unless otherwise noted. No part of this website may be reproduced, sold or made public (online) in any form, such as digital, electronic, by (photo)copying, recording or in any other way, without the express prior written permission of SLM. All content on SLM’s website (https://www.semangatlifemission.com) remains the copyright and property of SLM. For photos taken by others and quotes from others, the source or creator will be credited.
  2. Unless expressly communicated to the contrary, the only tacit permission is to quote excerpts from written works by SLM, provided the source is acknowledged and there is no profit motive.
  3. Please email welcome@semangatlifemission.com to request permission to use any content, teaching materials, or other materials owned by SLM.
  4. The teaching material offered for Workshops, Training and Courses also remains the property of SLM.
  5. Making recordings in the form of audio, photography or video during Services offered by SLM are only permitted with the permission of the Spiritual Therapist or Trainer and Participants and/or Clients present at that time. However, the recordings remain the property of SLM and are only for personal use by Participants and/or Clients.
